The Columbia Police Department announced Friday it has charged a 63-year-old Columbia woman with five misdemeanors in connection with recent incidents that occurred outside of a home in the 500 block of Centerville Road.

Kathryn Stout, 63, was issued a notice to appear in court on four counts of criminal damage to property and one count of disorderly conduct for alleged incidents in August and September that included vandalism to “Black Lives Matter” signs outside the residence, the pouring of salt on vegetation and other acts, according to court information.

Stout, who lives within a few blocks of the home in question, is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 19.
