Jamie Lee Wilson and Johnathan Milton Mehrtens have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ron and Kelly Turpin of Rochester, and Rob and Alisa Wilson of Phoenix, NY. She is a 2009 graduate of Rochester High School and will graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in May 2013, with a bachelor’s degree in special education.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Vince and Marcia Mehrtens of Waterloo. He is a 2008 graduate of Waterloo High School and will graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in May 2013, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The couple are planning a July 2013 wedding in Valmeyer.
