Shauna Wilson of Republic, Mo., and A.J. Brown of Waterloo have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Debbie Wilson of Waterloo. She is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Missouri College of Cosmetology and Esthetics, and is employed as a licensed esthetician at ULTA Beauty.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Bob and Kim Brown of Waterloo. He is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Missouri State University, where he was president of Sigma Lambda Chi and the Construction Club. He is employed in construction management at Killian Construction.
The couple are planning an Oct. 11, 2013, wedding.
