William C. Holmes, Jr., 23, of Waterloo, died July 8, 2015, in Waterloo.

He was born Oct. 9, 1991, in St. Louis, son of Janel Holmes (nee Schneider) and the late William C. Holmes Sr.

William was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo.

He is survived by his mother; sister Danielle (Ernie) Aubuschon; nieces and nephew Lena, Chloe and Andrew Aubuschon; grandfather Jerome Schneider; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents Alvina Schneider and Lemuel and Marilynn Holmes.

Visitation will be July 13, from 4 to 8 p.m., and July 14, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.; at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated July 14, at 10 a.m., at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be made to Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or in the form of Masses.
