The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Waterloo High School wrestling team coached by Chase Guercio. The Bulldogs finished with a record of 12-6 on the season and had multiple wrestlers earn individual honors. Gavin Hearren, Jordan Sommers and Brett Howard each earned first team All-Mississippi Valley Conference accolades. Hearren and Brandon Lloyd qualified for the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association State Tournament taking place this weekend.
