WHS Girls Basketball | Team of the Week

The Waterloo High School girls basketball team coached by Matt Lucash is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week.

The Bulldogs went 3-0 in the 19th annual Candy Cane Classic tournament last week, defeating Gibault, Columbia and Alton Marquette to take the tourney trophy for the first time in several years. Waterloo topped Columbia in overtime and edged Marquette by two points.

Waterloo is now 5-5 on the season.
