The Waterloo High School Cheer Squad is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week.

The team took fifth place at the ICCA Championships held over the past weekend in Springfield.

The squad, pictured at right, are made up of team members, from left, front row: Kyleen May, Erin Johnson, Kaela Osterhage, Allie Sparr, Melissa Roider, Emma Meadors, Rachel Magouirk and Alyssa Miller; and back row: Paige Kean, Mariah LaFore, Lauren Blodgett, Brittany Morris, Ashton Nobbe, Mallory Buss, Maddy Klein, Emma Geringer, Emma Snodgrass, Olivia Thaggard, Lizzy Coplin and head coach Amber Hensiek.
