The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Waterloo High School boys golf squad coached by Dave Stites. The Bulldogs captured the Monroe County Golf Tournament team trophy Thursday at Annbriar Golf Course. Waterloo shot a 162 – good for six strokes better than second place Columbia. Gibault shot a 172 and Valmeyer shot a 217. Waterloo’s Cooper Sandheinrich led all golfers with a nine-hole score of 38. Waterloo’s Jaden Smith and Tyler Armbrecht tied for fourth place with a 40 for the Bulldogs.
