Randy and Robin Wetzler announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Wetzler, formerly of Waterloo, to Kyle Wild, formerly of Cairo.

Wetzler graduated from Waterloo High School in 2002 — the same year Wild graduated from Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora.

Kyle is the son of John and Annie Wild of Surprise, Ariz.

Kyle and Michelle are both graduates of the University of Illinois, where they met in engineering school.

They currently reside and work in San Francisco, Calif.

In 2012, Kyle co-founded Keen IO, a technology start-up they run with five of their best friends.

A June 2013 wedding is being planned in Sonoma, Calif.
