Wednesday brush fire near Millstadt

The Millstadt and Columbia fire departments responded shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday to an out-of-control brush fire in the area of 3700 Douglas Road east of Columbia.

Initial reports indicated the fire was spreading near a structure in that area.
