Wednesday brush fire in rural Columbia

Columbia Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the 6000 block of Triple Lakes Road around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Waterloo and Prairie du Pont fire departments were called to assist when the fire grew closer to a nearby wooded area.
