Waterloo woman injured in motorcycle crash

A Waterloo woman was injured in a motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday afternoon in Randolph County.

Illinois State Police said a 1999 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Kimberly S. Esker, 52, of Waterloo, was traveling on Bluff Road just west of Harmony Road shortly after 2 p.m. when her bike left the roadway on the outside of a curve and she was ejected.

Esker was not wearing a helmet during the crash, ISP said. She was airlifted to an area hospital by medical helicopter for treatment of serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
