Waterloo Girls Bowling | Team of the Week

The Waterloo High School girls bowling team is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week.

The Bulldogs, led by top bowler Makensy Umscheid, delivered a strong performance to win the Kegler Challenge tournament played at West Park Bowl in Columbia on Dec. 12.

After defeating Belleville East in the semifinals, the Bulldogs moved on to defeat Alton, 408-369, in the finals for the championship.

Umschied finished fourth as an individual while averaging a 200.
