Waterloo Boys Tennis | Team of the Week

Waterloo High School boys tennis

The Waterloo High School boys tennis team coached by Brett Ivers is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week. The Bulldogs are 7-1 on the spring.

Since losing to Mascoutah on April 1, Waterloo has won four straight including victories over Metro-East Lutheran, Granite City, Althoff and Highland. Grant Rodenberg has been the top singles player for the ‘Dogs, with Tyler Chitty and Charlie McGhee shining in doubles.

“Overall, I’d say we are heading in the right direction but still have some work to do,” Ivers said. “Our goal is to be playing our best tennis those last two weeks of the season.”
