The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Waterloo High School boys basketball team (17-8), which won its first Mississippi Valley Conference championship — and first conference title in 33 years dating back to the Cahokia Conference days — with a 45-39 home victory over Jerseyville on senior night.

What an accomplishment! Congrats on your big win, boys!
