A Fountain Water District water usage alert issued Tuesday night has been lifted.

Customers “are free to return to your normal water usage,” the district wrote in an update. 

“Our water supply is currently in good shape. We do ask that you remain aware of your water consumption over the next several of weeks, as we remain in this hot and dry weather pattern,” it continued.

The notice includes all Fountain Water customers, as well as those in the Village of Valmeyer and Village of Maeystown.
