The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School volleyball squad. The Pirates, winners of eight straight matches entering this week, downed MICDS, Trico, Dupo and Red Bud on Saturday to win the Red Bud Tournament championship. Valmeyer is now 23-7 on the season. Pictured is the squad after winning the Red Bud tourney.
