The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School volleyball team coached by Karla Bivins. The Pirates won three of four matches to take first place in the Red Bud Tournament over the weekend, including victories over Carlyle, Trico and Wesclin. Valmeyer (19-11) is unbeaten in conference play this fall entering action this week.
