VHS boys basketball | Team of the Week

The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School boys basketball squad coached by John Wuelling. The Pirates (6-6) won the second annual Piasa Southwestern Christmas Tournament over the weekend, defeating SIUE Charter, Piasa Southwestern and Dupo. Also, Valmeyer’s Aiden Crossin reached 1,000 career points during the tourney. He averaged 20 points per game during the tournament.
