Fort de Chartres Anniversary Celebration

Fort de Chartres State Historic Site 1350 IL route 155, Prairie du Rocher, IL, United States

The 100 year anniversary of Fort de Chartres will be celebrated 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5. There will be a re-dedication ceremony of the site plaque, 1920s-era music, reenactors, an antique automobile demonstration, a collection of vintage material, documents and photos from the first 100 years of the park’s history.
