Vehicle strikes parked cars in Columbia

Columbia police, fire and EMS personnel responded shortly after 11:30 a.m. Friday to the 700 block of North Metter Avenue after a vehicle reportedly struck two parked cars.

The driver sustained lacerations as a result of the crash, but injuries were considered minor.
