Vehicle fire call on I-255

The Columbia Fire Department was paged before 4:50 p.m. Friday to the report of a white pickup truck possibly on fire on southbound I-255 at milepost 7.5 near Columbia. A responding police officer said the fire department could disregard, as the truck blew out a tire rather than catching on fire.
