The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School soccer squad, which won three of four games to capture first place in the Hancock Tournament played at Heine Meine Field in St. Louis. The Pirates defeated Lift For Life, Cleveland and Gateway Science Academy to capture the title. Vaughn Larson scored three goals during the tourney and Andrew Whipple shined in net.
