The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School volleyball squad coached by Jenny Kohnz.

The Pirates won all five matches in last week’s Roxana Invitational to capture the first place plaque. Valmeyer defeated Marquette, Piasa Southwestern and Father McGivney earlier in the week before toppling Civic Memorial and Roxana in two sets each on Saturday to win the title.  (submitted photo)
