Valmeyer High School Baseball | Team of the Week

The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School baseball team coached by Greg Reinhardt.

The Pirates defeated New Athens and Metro East Lutheran last week to win the Class 1A New Athens Regional championship.

It marked the program’s first regional title since 1971. Valmeyer (21-14-1) plays Nokomis in the Carlinville Sectional on Wednesday.
