Valmeyer High School Baseball Team

The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer High School baseball squad, which went 3-0 this past weekend to win the South Central Wooden Bat Tournament.

The Pirates topped Louisville North Clay on Friday and posted wins over South Central and Casey Westfield on Saturday.

Valmeyer is now 12-7-1 on the season, following an eight-inning win Wednesday, under head coach Greg Reinhardt.
