A two-vehicle crash occurred on Floraville Road near Buss Branch Road in rural St. Clair County around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The Hecker Fire Department and Millstadt EMS responded to the scene.

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department said a 1995 Ford Explorer driven by Stephanie L. Messina, 26,of Edwardsville, was traveling southbound on Floraville Road when a 2014 Chevy Cruze driven by Rev. Dennis F. Voss, 77, of Belleville, collided with the Explorer when attempting to turn into a driveway at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Paderborn.

A passenger in Voss’s car, Msgr. Vincent Haselhorst, 83, of Belleville, was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville for minor injuries. A minor passenger in Messina’s car also reported minor injuries.

Voss was cited for failure to yield in the crash; Messina was cited for no insurance.
