Truck trailer breaks in half at Rt. 3 and Veterans Pkwy

The southbound lanes of Route 3 at Veterans Parkway in Columbia are currently blocked as towing crews have been called to remove a semi-truck’s trailer that broke in half while hauling a large container at that intersection shortly after 11 a.m. Friday.

According to witnesses, traffic is currently backed up for miles.
