Trash truck fire in Columbia

The Columbia Fire Department responded shortly after 9:05 a.m. Tuesday to a trash truck fire in the 200 block of Southwoods Drive near Hoya Optical Lab in Columbia.

Flames were seen as firefighters had the trash dumped from the rear of a Reliable Sanitation truck.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
