Monica Townsend and Donald Deppe of Valmeyer have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randy Townsend of Ashley.

She is a graduate of Nashville High School and Southwestern Illinois College with an associate’s degree in science.

She is employed as a medical assistant.

The groom-to-be is the son of Michael Deppe and Sharon Horn.

He is a graduate of North West High School and is employed as an auto beauty specialist.

They are planning a Sept. 20, 2014 wedding.
