Volunteers are needed to serve as guides for the six-week “Hometown Teams” Smithsonian sports history exhibit from July 26 to Sept. 7 at the Monroe County History Museum. Training will be conducted by the Illinois Humanities Council.

As a guide, you will receive training, work four-hour shifts of your choosing, and gain experience in communicating with people about sports and history. These volunteer hours will be viewed as important to college admissions administrators and future employers.
