Sunday evening fire call in Columbia

The Columbia Fire Department responded shortly before 6:45 p.m. Sunday to a report of a fire inside a work room at 700 Briar Lake Place.
The fire was believed out prior to firefighter arrival, but the residence did have heavy smoke throughout.
