Steven Mark Heise | Obituary

Steven Mark Heise, 59, of Waterloo, died Jan. 23, 2016, at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, Chula Vista, Calif., with his wife and son by his side.

He was born Oct. 2, 1956, in Murphysboro, son of the late William Heise and William Doris Heise.

Steve was known around town as Mr. Fix-it and had a lot of wonderful customers who he did work for. He will definitely be missed by them. He has been doing handyman work for about 20 years.

He was involved in Tres Dias of St. Louis, a men’s Christian fellowship group. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Steve will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Heise (nee Loehr); son Johnathan; brother Marty (Kay) Heise of Glendale, Ariz.; sister Susan Poucher of Murphysboro; niece Lisa Meegan; and nephews Ray Hankins and Brandon (Jessica) Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Billy Heise.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
