Lacie Steibel and Phillip Saale of Waterloo have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tina Steibel of Waterloo and Chris Steibel of Red Bud. She is a graduate of Red Bud High School and Southwestern Illinois College with an associates degree. She is employed as a loan processor for Buena Vista National Bank.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Toi Hatcher of Glen Cove, N.Y., and Steve Saale of Brighton. He is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture systems management. He is employed as a grain originator for Gateway FS.

The couple are planning a March 12, 2016, wedding.
