Christen Smith and Jonathan Woods were married May 20, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Columbia, Pastor Van Lees officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Marilyn Smith of Waterloo. The groom is the son of Buddy and Nancy Woods of St. Charles, Mo.

The bride is a graduate of Waterloo High School, Eastern Illinois University and Saint Louis University School of Law. She is employed by Express Scripts.

The groom is a graduate of Francis Howell High School and University of Missouri St. Louis, and he will graduate with a Master of Business Administration from UMSL in 2018. He is employed at Express Scripts.

A reception followed the ceremony at The Falls. The couple reside in Foristell, Mo.
