Shirley Mae Ruhmann, nee Riebeling, 48, of Waterloo, died May 22, 2014 in Waterloo.

Shirley was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo.

She worked as a cook for various restaurants and food establishments throughout Monroe County.

Shirley was the daughter of Roy and Ina Mae Riebeling, nee Marquardt. She married Dwight Ruhmann on Feb. 14, 1986 in Belleville.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father.

In addition to her mother and husband, Shirley is survived by her two sons, Troy Ruhmann (special friend Taylor Philips) and Travis Ruhmann, both of Waterloo; sisters Judy Lancaster of Waterloo and Sandy (Chuck) Seacord of Columbia; brothers Larry (Donna) Riebeling of Waterloo, Brian (Debbie) Riebeling of Kilborn, and Kent (Lisa) Riebeling of Millstadt; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
