She was married to Darrel James Price and lived in Edwardsville.
Sherran’s firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and now she is at peace with Him. Her faith in Jesus Christ gave her a strong conviction to raise her children in the Lutheran Church and provide them with a Christian education.
She is survived by her husband; her children Crystal Lee Goodwin (nee Price) of Edwardsville, Matthew Joseph (Lora) Price of Yorkville, and Erick Joshua (Joshua) Price of Tower Grove, Mo.; her grandchildren, Britney, Arianna, Carmen, Grace, Lilly, Hannah, Jordan and Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Jarred and Leo; mother, Virginia Lee Jeffery; and siblings, Bruce Allen (Debbie) Jeffery of Cahokia and Keith Brian (Karla) Jeffery of Columbia; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Armentine Koch of Columbia, at age 105, her father, and brother Thomas Aaron (Dana) Jeffery.
Sherran was a creative and resourceful entrepreneur and started multiple businesses with her husband including EZ Travel Services and Price Cigarettes, as well as accounting and ceramics. Their most recent successful business venture was flipping houses.
Philanthropically, Sherran was involved in many activities including Brownies, Girl Scouts, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Holiday Shores Ski Club and many more.
As matriarch she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to new places. Her humble and modest sensibility will leave a thumbprint on those she loved.
