Sharon L. Wright (nee Farney), 70, of Waterloo, died Dec. 4, 2015, in Waterloo.

She was born Feb. 20, 1945, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Donald and Verna Farney (nee Smith).

She is survived by her husband, Carl L. Wright; children Carl L. Wright Jr. and Chris (Scott) Merritt; grandchildren Carly Merritt and Lindsey Merritt; brothers Donald (Elaine) Farney and James (Eva) Farney; sister Tanna (Jim) Donnelly; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters Calvert “Pete” Farney, Carol Swain, Eugene Farney, Deanna Hunter and Larry Farney.

Visitation was Dec. 6-7, at Quernheim Funeral Home.

Funeral services were Dec. 7, at Quernheim Funeral Home Waterloo.
