Seib – Hoosen | Wedding

Amanda Seib & Michael Hoosen

Amanda Rae Seib and Michael James Hoosen were married Aug. 24, 2013, at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Father Marvin Volk officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dean and Ann Seib of Millstadt and granddaughter of Marcella Klein of Paderborn and the late Ignatius Klein and the late Bill and Ethel Seib. She is a 2007 graduate of Gibault Catholic High School and 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with dual bachelor of science degrees in accounting and business administration with an emphasis in finance. She is employed as a logistics and international accounts payable associate at Tacony Corporation in Fenton, Mo.

The groom is the son of Ken and Becky Hoosen of Galesburg and grandson of Lester Sr. and Marcella Johnson and Thelma Bloome and the late Wilbert Bloome and Gene Hoosen. He is a 2006 graduate of Galesburg High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a bachelor of science in business management. He is employed as a management trainee with Enterprise in Belleville.

The matron of honor was Deanna Schneeberger, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Audrey Seib (sister in law of the bride), Michelle Oglivie, Danielle Hayden, and Jena Lansing, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Madelynn Schneeberger, niece of the bride. Guest book attendants were Stacy Seib, cousin of the bride, and Hailey Sperlin, friend of the groom.

Candlelighters were Marisa and Monique Hoosen, nieces of the groom. Reader was Teresa Fehrenz, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Kyle Krisher, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Steve Hoosen and Kenneth Hoosen Jr., (brothers of the groom, Kyle Johnson, cousin of the groom, and Gurdine Acklin, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Kenneth Hoosen III, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Phillip Seib, brother of the bride, and Steve and Kenneth Hoosen Jr., brothers of the groom.

Musicians were Megan Glaeser (cousin of the bride) and Monica Winkeler.

Pictures were taken at the home of Dean and Ann Seib, fields and farm place of the late William and Ethel Seib, Millstadt ballfield and Farmer’s Inn Restaurant.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn ballroom in South County, Mo.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and currently reside in Millstadt.

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
