The Republic-Times is proud to announce the premiere of the Republic-Times All-Local team. The team is chosen through voting by the local coaches of that sport as well as the Republic-Times staff. 

2013 Republic-Times All-Local Boys Bowling Team

Hayden Bode (Waterloo, junior) finished this season with an average of 199. Bode’s highest game of the season was a 268 and his high series of the season was a 688.

Grant Phelps (Columbia, junior) finished the 2012-13 season bowling an average of 194. In his high series for the Eagles, Phelps bowled a 654. His high game of the season was a 247.

Michael McGarry (Waterloo, sophomore) finished his season with an average of 216. In his best game this season, McGarry knocked down 278 pins. His high series for this year was a 766. McGarry placed eighth at sectionals for Waterloo.

Tyler McIver (Waterloo, junior) finished his season with an average of 206. McIver bowled a 745 high series and had a high game of 278.

Cameron Touchette (Columbia, freshman) finished the season with a 218 average. Touchette’s high game consisted of knocking down 279 pins. His high series of the season was a 806. Touchette finished seventh at state.

2013 Republic-Times All-Local Girls Bowling Team

Gabbie Hoge (Waterloo, sophomore) finished the season bowling an average of 184. In her highest game of the season, Hoge bowled a 247 and her high series for the Bulldogs was a 633. Hoge placed sixth at sectionals.

Payge Hunter (Waterloo, junior) finished the season with a 162 average. Hunter’s high game of the season consisted of knocking down 223 pins. Her high series for 2013 was a 561.

Becca Krebel (Columbia, senior) finished the season with a 192 average. Krebel’s high series for the year was 639 and her high game was a 279. She placed fourth at sectionals for the Eagles and was named as an at-large individual, but was one pin shy of qualifying for state.

Miranda Rodenhofer (Columbia, junior) finished the 2012-13 season bowling an average game of 190. In her high game for the Eagles this season, Rodenhofer knocked down 253 pins. She had a high series of 680.

Megan Wodochek (Gibault, senior) finished the season averaging 159 per game. In her high series of the season, Wodochek bowled a 223. Her high series of the year was a 541.
