Rosemary T. Sawyer
Rosemary T. Sawyer (nee Mickna), 84, of Waterloo, died Jan. 30, 2013, in Waterloo.
She was born March 21, 1928, in Chicago, daughter of the late Leo and Irene Mickna (nee Oswald).
She was married to the late George H. Sawyer.
Survivors include her son David (Diane) Sawyer; grandchildren Elizabeth (Jeremy) LeSaulnier, Bethani (Keith) Kipping, and Aaron Sawyer; three great-grandchildren; and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Catherine “Katie” Sawyer.
Visitation and a funeral Mass were held Feb. 1, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Father Osang Idabgo C.M. officiating.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
