Ronald R. Gerber, 64, of Waterloo, died May 25, 2014 in Waterloo.

He was born Oct. 12, 1949 in Red Bud, son of the late Arnold and Edith M. (nee Buettner) Gerber.

Mr. Gerber was a member of Laborers Local #196 and Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wartburg.

He is survived by sisters Patricia K. (Ronald) Unterseh and Judy Ann (Michael) Huebner, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will take place at noon June 14 at Fort de Chartres in Prairie du Rocher.
