Columbia police, fire and EMS personnel responded along with Illinois State Police shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash with extrication and minor injuries on northbound I-255 at the curve just past the Columbia exit.

A fire official told the Republic-Times that the vehicle involved was an unmarked work van with Missouri plates and driven by a male. The van veered off the roadway at the curve and landed on its side. The driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
