Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Waterloo Fire Department and Monroe County EMS personnel responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at about noon Tuesday in the 6200 area of Maeystown Road just outside of Waterloo. Initial reports were that the car, a Chevy Malibu, was smoking.

At least one person was transported from the scene, but the extent of injuries is unknown at this time. Maeystown Road was temporarily blocked by emergency vehicles as the departments worked to clean the scene.
