Rita F. Guy, 85, died Jan. 8, 2015 in Seymour, Ind.

She was born Aug. 13, 1929 in Washington, Ind., daughter of the late Blanch and Fred Gress.

She is survived by a son; David (Lynn) Guy of Bloomfield, daughter; Jan (Dan) Megel of North Vernon, and a brother; Darrell Gress of Ohio, grandchildren Lisa (Kevin) Vogel, Sarah (Jason) Ramey, John (Kim) Megel, Rebecca (Chadd) Stone, Stacy (Joey) Hollis, Jason (Jessie) Guy and Andra Hollis, and special friends Kathy and Bill Thompson of Odon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest Guy, who died Sept. 14, 1995, two brothers; Rollie Gress and Nobel Gress, and a sister; Jane Guy.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 12 at Ed Lee Mortuary in Washington, Ind.

A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Jan. 13 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery, Ind.

Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Washington, Ind.
