Richard Herman Juelfs, 78, of Lockhart, Texas, died July 16, 2015, in Kyle, Texas.

Mr. Juelfs was very dedicated to the United States military and to this great country. He was a good father to his three children, Rick, Chris and Jennifer, and a loving grandfather to all of his grandchildren.

Those who knew him, loved him and he, them.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Juelfs; son Richard Juelfs, Jr. of Lockhart, Texas, son Christopher Juelfs of Uhland, Texas, and daughter Jennifer Hennan of El Paso, Texas; five sisters, Shirley, Alice, Pearl, Dianne and Kathy; three brothers, Melvin, Clifford and Dennis, eight grandchildren; cousin Charles Juelfs of St. Louis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

Visitation and funeral services were Aug. 1, at Eeds Funeral Home Chapel, in Lockhart, Texas, Bishop David Wagner officiating.

Interment was private.
