Jesse and Karen Hill of Kirkwood, Mo., announce the birth of their son, Reid David Hill.

He was born Feb. 10, 2013, at 3:43 p.m.,  at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Ron and Mary Ann Hagenow of Waterloo.

Paternal grandparents are Wesley and Patricia Hill of Danvers.

His maternal great-grandmothers are Gerry Hagenow of Manteno and Rusty Steckler of Belleville.
