The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School golfer Reese Kite. The junior finished her season this weekend in the IHSA Class 2A State Finals at Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur with rounds of 79 and 76 under difficult conditions to place 19th overall. Kite (pictured with WHS girls golf head coach Jacob Flick) previously won conference, regional and sectional titles on her way to state.
