Ellen Prader and Jacob Quernheim of Waterloo have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Mary Kay Prader of Waterloo. She is a 2010 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She currently works at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

The groom-to-be is the son of Doug and Nancy Quernheim of Waterloo. He is a 2011 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 2015 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science. He is currently employed at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

The couple is planning an April 16, 2016, wedding.
