Power outage in Valmeyer

The village of Valmeyer sustained a power outage Tuesday morning from about 10 to 11 a.m.

Monroe County Electric Cooperative was informed that Ameren had a transmission line outage that feeds MCEC’s Fountain substation.

“We have a number of accounts fed off our Fountain substation that are affected and have called in to report it,” MCEC spokesman Allan Masterson said.
